Update 1.0.4 for new world is out and it brings a truckload of bug fixes and improvements to the game including a fix for the ice gauntlet bug and a “speculative” fix for the outpost rush issue. If i restart my game then the ice storm persists when i swap weapons, but while i play something happens and boom ice storm is gone the second i swap again What server/world did you experience your issue on:

If i swap weapons after casting ice storm then spell will not finish its full duration and will instead end the moment i swap weapons. You’ll run in place, or not be able to move unless you dodge or jump.

So first off i’d like to say i have encountered far more bugs in the release than in the closed beta. The skill is broken and unreliable for me after today's patch.

It's not that 2 second perk on gear, i checked. The theory was that the 10% damage boost for every person in the ice storm from the perk ‘punishing storm’ was applying to auto attacks and spells of the ice gauntlet.

The new bug is that the ice storm isn’t applying the chill affect for starters so the skill to root with heavy attack is not doing anything and subsequently because no chill effect you get no boosted damage from shooting chilled targets. Update 1 (october 28) 04:28 pm (ist):

Do not skill this, it makes ice storm disappear on weapon swap. The ice storm will do damage to enemies that are slowed,.

We then tested a base auto attack damage for the ice gauntlet by attacking the player x. This ability is nearly the signature of the ice gauntlet.
