The Most Common Cause In Sse Is That Two Mods Are Overwriting The Appearance Of The Same Npc, Which Can Be Fixed By Removing That Npc's Records And Facegen From One Of The Mods.

Using a hair mod alongside a skin overhaul mod will cause blackface. The dark face bug can also be caused by race data conflicts. Not certain what the cause is but i think it could be related to the mod distinct people because it changes some npc's.
